Who should join APCS?
Any petroleum cargo surveyor/inspector involved in the custody transfer of crude oils, petroleum products, and gases either by pipeline, road tankers, or by marine transportation.

requirements
You should have a minimum of three years experience as a Petroleum Cargo Surveyor/Inspector and be familiar with, as a minimum, the inspector guidelines within the API Manual of Petroleum Measurement Standards, The Energy Institute Hydrocarbon Management Guidelines, the relevant ISO Standards, the International Safety Guide for Oil Tankers and Terminals, and the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulation related to Hydrogen Sulphide.
